Since immersion is so important when learning a language, I incorporate speaking, writing, listening, and reading activities into my lessons. This may look like listening to a daily weather report in France, watching a scene from a French movie, or even translating a French recipe! It’s essential to incorporate hobbies into language learning, and I enjoy doing this for my students with engaging activities based on their interests. I speak French as much as possible in my lessons to further reinforce key French vocabulary and phrases and work with my students’ goals to create organized and effective lesson plans. I want my students to feel secure and to know that it’s okay to make mistakes!
