Hi, I’m Jason! I’m an American English language and writing professor with more than ten years of professional teaching experience. I specialize in Academic English, exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Duolingo), university and graduate school admissions, and professional/business English. I am highly qualified: I have a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of Oxford, a University of Cambridge CELTA teaching certification, British Council/IELTS Examiner certification for Speaking and Writing, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Boston University.
I work with students to prepare for high-stakes tests and to improve their academic, business, and general English skills. I have experience teaching absolute beginners, as well as students aiming for the highest levels of English proficiency. I am an interactive and dynamic teacher, and I customize my lessons to best achieve learning goals. Most importantly, I ensure that my students always feel comfortable, confident, and welcome in the classroom.
