I am at Montreal to do standup comedy and ballet. Here is a city to start anew. For you, this is Japan where you can start over if you believe. Have lived in Miyazaki for 6y until August, in Tokyo for 5y, and spent some time in the US, have a mechanic and curator’s background. Montreal is a interesting city, people speak mostly English or French. I can’t say here is just a bilingual city. People are divided into 2 languages communities. Even if your Japanese is not fluent and someone judges you immediately and switch to English, I don’t think it’s your fault. I can share my experience in Montreal. I’ll do my best so that you receive only the joy of conversation in Japan as possible.
I As a full-time teacher for 5 years, I always prioritize my students’ learning and focus on their success. I teach a wide range of students from all backgrounds and all levels. You can learn from scratch even if you are complete beginner. Some patience needed, though!😁 I started to provide Kanji classes. You would learn as if Japanese do. I like to deliver fun and productive classes that will help you reach your goals, whether they’re quantifiable (textbook JLPT driven) or more abstract (enjoying manga/ conversation etc). My student reviews below are a good indicator of my range.
I’ve developed a format optimized for 1on1 lessons. I’ve created a unique, streamlined Japanese vocabulary system in the form of topical or grammar lists I can share on the spot. This system is designed to ‘free’ the students from the barrier of unfamiliar vocabulary on specific topics during both free conversation and more structured study. My motto: Practice thoroughly until using unconsciously 📚💪🗣️
